Eyes eyes eyes by Dingz Eyes eyes eyes by Dingz
Just made many of cartoon eyes, ready to install to the fursuit head XD.

The left blue 2D and 3D eyes are actually for same character from FA [link] . He request a new pair of 2D and 3D eyes so here we go lol.

The yellow follow-me eyes is for a unnamed-husky, I just plan to make it out and sold it.

The pink reptile one is a Sergal eyes for the new Sergal commission.

the right roll of eyes are for my Moonkin come from World of Warcraft. My Moonkin look like this [link] and I just completely redoing him. Those Moonkin eyes are planned for different face expression. The green one will add eyes lid to let it look tried/sad. The yellow one will add eyes lid that for anger. The blue will do some modification and let it have curious feeling.

All those eyes may / can be dis-mountable from the fursuit head.

Question - how would I fit a pair of the 3D ones into the head? Do they bend slightly (to fit the eye/face shape?).

Dingz Featured By Owner Feb 5, 2013  Professional Artisan Crafter
after you receive the eyes, put it at your desire position and use a mark pen and trace a mark on the head. after that you need to cut your foam head very slowly and carefully to fit into the head. The 3D eyes tube is fun foam so they can bend slightly. But for my experience, please cut the eyes hole JUST FIT and do not bend the 3D eyes tube.

O.O I NEED THEM! THEY'RE AWESOME! Ahem, yeah.. I was originially planning on using resin eyes, but to be honest, these look so much better and they'd be perfect for my fursona I'm making!

Question: Including shipping to the UK, how much would they be? And secondly, would it be possible to have them finished/posted by the end of March?

Please reply here and I'll note you with the details as to where/what/email to send paypal link to - i really hope I can commission you for a pair of these! Seriously, I can pay you as early as RIGHT NOW for them!

The commission fee are very depending on your settings. If this is 2D flat eyes without the transparent plastic sheet, just like the green moonkin eyes. Including the shipping fee, it will be $25 USD. With the transparent plastic sheet, just like the yellow one, will be $35 USD.

I can just star to work after receive money AND the setting and will finished in about 3 days :3

I'll keep that in mind! I love the design, just got to wait for the person I've commissioned to make the foam base to finish it and send it out so I can start looking for the parts :)

HELPFUL TIP REALLY IMPORTANT
eyes with a sealed cover like that will fog in cold temps. I made that mistake with my first set of eyes like this. I fixed this problem and posted a tutorial (should work for your style of eyes too) [link]

I just make one more layer of transparent plastic at the back of the eyes. It will fog up inside the head but you will not see foggy at the outer view of the eyes. Beside, I need the shinny effect of the transparent plastic. So, I won't cut out the pupil area. If you just annoy by the foggy, just apply a thin layer of anti-fog liquid at the back layer of the transparent plastic sheet... problem solve :3

Throwing in my two cents, I have had foggy eyes, and it's not a matter of it being seen, it's a matter of you not being able to see anything. It can be a hazard, and not only that but is very uncomfortable. If the anti-fog does work, that would be good, but I have heard some things about it being ineffective. They look great nonetheless, I'd just be really careful about fogging for the wearer.

I had already concern your problem after my first foggy eyes. So, all my fursuit head are now able to install computer case fan to low down the moisture contact. Beside the computer fan, movable jaw also help a lot to prevent moisture contact. My Sergal head are already to help me prove that :3 [link]

hopefully, having the fan in the muzzle of my fursuit head will reduce the likelihood of this happening; plus, mine should have a moving jaw, so most of the time, i breath with my mouth open (so most of the heat should be able to escape through the mouth/nose).

It just a fine cut hole to fit the eyes. It didn't need magnets to hold firm :3. My Moonkin and Sergal eyes can be dis-mountable just like [link]
